Tricia & her new husband, Ethan, get trapped in this big (kinda spooky) house overnight when a blizzard makes it impossible to get back to their own home. Tricia doesn’t want to buy this house, it’s weird & it gives her the creeps & they soon figure out it was Dr. Adrienne Hale’s house. They’re pretty sure that lady is dead. What if she’s haunting the house?
Ethan doesn’t believe in that kind of stuff, he really wants the house. Tricia attempts to make the most of the time they’re snowed in there & when she finds Dr. Hale’s secret room of all her tape-recorded therapy sessions, she can’t help herself. She listens to some of them.
As things unfold it gets a little creepy. There are coincidences, but like.. this is a Frieda book we are talking about here so I don’t trust it. I love the way she wrote Adrienne’s POV, & even Tricia’s character grew on me.
Anyways, it was real good. Kept me on my toes & I enjoyed reading it a lot. You should give it a go if you like Freida & haven’t read this one yet!
