Loving this series so far. The mix of slice of life and an epic fantasy quest makes for some lighthearted yet compelling reading. Frierens first group took 10 years just to reach the demon kings castle and it's gonna take 10 more to make the trip again, 25 years after their first conquest. Along the way Frieren says farewell to her old friends and makes new ones along the way, forming a new group, all with their own reasons for joining. Quiet, yet powerful mage Fern, Hesitant, yet courageous warrior Stark, and smart, yet slightly corrupt Priest Sein. This volume concludes the demon run town cliffhanger we got in the last volume and ends with the meeting of Sein with our heroes sheltering in a cabin with another elf named Kraft to wait out a blizzard.
