The God and the Gumiho

4/5 stars
I'm a bit disappointed because the first quarter to a half of this book was so promising, so much so that I wondered if this was going to be a new all-time favourite. The banter between Hani and Seokga was excellent, and I really enjoyed their pettiness towards each other (something that came across as funny instead of childish or annoying). But ultimately I felt the romance happened too quickly when this would have benefitted from a slower burn. I am happy to say that I did no figure out the mystery on my own though, and I am really looking forward to the sequel.
