ok so this review is coming from someone who LOVED horror hotel
-i keep seeing reviews saying you don't need to read the first one. yes, yes you do. read the first one FIRST
-gorgeous cover
-enjoyed seeing how the relationships from the first progressed into this new book, but there was WAY too much of it going on
-the spooky scenes were written well, i could picture them clearly in my mind
-sentient boat? uh, i tried but i wasn't a fan
-could just be me but throwing a random assMUMMY MYSTERY in there was so weird to me, it should have been all about it or not even mentioned
-the "paranormal patrol" rivalry element could have been cool, but it wasn't fleshed out enough AT ALL. they should have at least witnessed what chrissy was capable of
-could have been way better, and is such a letdown as i was so excited
