This was a wild ride! Luckily, my own company doesn't foist nearly as much Kool-aid as The Circle, but some of the corporate culture stuff rang true. Watching Mae navigate all that was a bit like watching a car crash, with some twists I did not see coming. The Circle and its sequel are a bleak indictment of technology's invasion of our privacy and, while bordering on the absurd, each escalation still managed to hit home.
