Beautiful, heartbreaking, tragic and yet still hopeful at the end. This is the coming of age story of a young queer boy who is trying to make it in a world that seems systematically built against him. He gets every obstacle imaginable thrown in his direction and you feel the punches along side Young Mungo just wishing you could pull him out of the book and give him a hug.
