I know this is a well loved book by a lot of people, but I did not like the writing. Also it’s super obvious what the “twist” is going to be later on. With more editing and possibly another writer I think I could have liked it. But there was too much of Bree’s daily life..
“I got in the shower. I brushed my teeth. I curled my hair with the curling iron.” Sentences like that dozens of times a chapter. And once the romance really starts it still wasn’t for me.
