Turn Coat by Jim Butcher

5.0

Effing fabulous! I relished every second. Rarely do series get more enjoyable as they go on, but Butcher does it with class. With this latest installment, he's written a supernatural locked-door mystery, that if you didn't already think Dresden was a Wizard-y Poirot, really nails Harry down as a fun bumbling endearing (though ruggedly handsome I'm sure) detective. It made me want to re-read the entire series again. If you've never read it, the cover blurb says it all: "Think Buffy the Vampire Slayer starring Philip Marlowe". Brilliant - start with the first one, though.

Perhaps Butcher should have teamed up with Joss Whedon instead of Sci-Fi channel for the TV Show. Probably would have been more accurate and longer lasting.
