The Dragon Who Loved Me by G.A. Aiken

Not a review exactly, but a few comments...

I really like how the women in this are diverse and yet somehow all are strong and have or are trying to have independence; following/finding their own path. This does not mean that they are all fearsome, and that allows for their strengths to shine. Sure, it's got a love story in it, but it definitely isn't typical (thank the stars) and, while it weaves it's way through the overarching story, it isn't the point of the book. Lastly, BEST fight, battle, and war scenes - I was RIVETED (I'm often bored by them)!
