Did not finish book.

okay. i was listening to this audiobook (on the libro.fm app 👍🏼), and i was really, really enjoying it, y'know? it was a cute little romantic (semi)fantasy book -- Twain, and Quint were cute -- and then it got to the third act, and for whatever reason, there was this twist? which btw, the characters were cute and fun, and you had the mystery of the Vermillion Emporium AND the starlight lace..... why? -- why have an act three twist? it was just so unnecessary. and rude.

and i feel like the betrayal wasn't even earned. so i was dragging my feet about finishing the book, and i turned it on today (with something like 3hrs left of the audiobook), and i literally could not care about how it was going to pan out.

harsh as it is, it's the truth. and for me not finishing, this far in, i think it has to have a low score: 2 out of 5.
