This is a tale of obsession. After only six dates, Jane is convinced Colin is the one! After he ghosts her, she makes it her mission to get him to see the light. After "bumping" into him on a date, Jane gets befriended by Colin's current girlfriend, Zoe. As all grow closer, it becomes increasingly unclear what their motives are and who was behind several murders.

Olivia Worley expertly weaves a tale into the unhealthy psyches of emotionally damaged people. Jane is an unreliable narrator from the start, as she clearly has delusional thoughts about Colin. But as the story progresses, maybe Jane isn't the only unhinged person. There are a lot of twists and turns. However, I felt one of the main plot points was too easily telegraphed from the beginning, making me want to yell, Jane, girl, come on, open your eyes!
