As an Appalachian, as a queer person, as an activist—this book hit a congruence of so many identities for me and came together beautifully. All of the characters’ voices were so distinct. There were so many moments that had me audibly gasping out loud, fighting back tears, nodding in agreement, laughing quietly. Beautiful story telling from start to finish. The ending left me wanting even more but it was perfect where it stopped in its own way
