Praying for Rain by B.B. Easton
5.0

This book surprised me in a good way.

I got it for free on Amazon and I decided to give it a chance when someone post it in a Goodreads list.
First, let me start with the cover. Apparently I'm a visual buyer when it comes to books because when I love the cover I don't even read the description. I just do it when I'll start reading it.
The book is morbidly awesome. It has a different approach to the apocalypse, in a very intriguing way. The writing is very fluid and entertaining. The characters are interesting and even though I kind of guessed what the twist at the end would be I still liked it because it was described in a way that I had to turn the light on (no kidding) while I was reading before going to bed.
Caution: it does have explicit scenes that you can skip, but some morbid ones I'm not sure are skippable.
