Wow, I really did not like this book. While it addresses many real, serious issues faced by women in STEM (not much has changed since the 60s unfortunately), the book relies heavily on tropes and lazy stereotypes of women and scientists. The most likable character is the dog.
Graphic: Bullying, Death, Misogyny, Rape, Suicidal thoughts, Death of parent, and Sexual harassment
Moderate: Homophobia and Religious bigotry
