Instead of the unreliable narrator, here we have the wise ass narrator. Hard to like a guy making cracks every third line, even less so dealing with his over confudence and over sexed personality. I guess your meant to like him as a lovable rogue, but John Corey isnt the sort I warm too. Interesting detective story, little too long on narrative and short in detection.
