Emily Rath is an autobuy author for me and when I got the opportunity to read an ARC of Pucking Strong I was absolutely over the moon!
I love this series, so it was really nice to revisit everyone. This is book four in the series but could absolutely be read as a standalone. The pacing was great and I couldn't put it down once I started. It was definitely a slower burn than previous books but there was no less spice when it got there. Plus, the combination of single parent and marriage of convenience is just perfection.
Teddy and Henrik, where do I even start?? Teddy is the sweetest person and I loved his easy friendships and radiating kindness. His need to help everyone around him drove him into the arms of Henrik. The evolution of their relationship was written so beautifully. I loved seeing Henrik learn about himself through his feelings for Teddy. With the addition of his niece Karro, it was the sweetest little family.
While on the longer side, I found that it didn't feel like it. The characters stayed with me after I finished and I now want to reread the previous books to be back in that world.
Thank you so much Hambright PR And Emily for the ARC copy in exchange for an honest review.
