I love her writing style. It's so exquisite. I love the way you can figure out the traits and qualities of each of the characters just by their short, curt exchanges with Furlong. And I like how it ends,
kind of a cliffhanger, but not really. Like an open ending, hopeful or not depending on your interpretation.
Most of all, the way this Catholic Irish practice is criticized, but not so blatantly either. The balance is perfect.
