Catch Her Heart by Julia Jarrett
4.5
Okay, Catch Her Heart was such a vibe! If you’re looking for a feel-good romance that’s soft, sweet, and low on the angst, this is it. Think slow-burn, no crazy plot twists, just two people figuring out how to make their relationship work. No unnecessary drama—just vibes.
Dan is the oldest virgin in Major League Baseball and, spoiler, he’s in love with a woman who's about to marry someone else. But then Lark shows up, kisses him, and BOOM, their chemistry is undeniable. I loved how they slowly built their connection—it wasn’t rushed, but you could totally feel how perfect they were for each other. Dan's already 100% in love with Lark from the jump, but it takes a little more time for her to catch up, which I thought was adorable.

And let’s talk about the audiobook—Victoria Connolly and Tim Paige were great! Tim nailed the innocent, soft Dan, and Victoria brought all the warmth and care to Lark. Their voices were so easy to listen to, and they brought all the passion, humor, and romance to life.
The book doesn’t have a big third-act breakup, thankfully, it didn’t need it! The pace was perfect, and the lack of unnecessary conflict made the relationship feel so real and genuine.
In short: it’s a chill, sweet romance with great character growth and communication. Perfect if you’re in the mood for something that’ll leave you smiling.
