Scythe
by Neal Shusterman
'Thou Shalt Kill'
At first I thought a story about a group of Scythes killing people would be a bloodbath and would strive my dark side but after finishing I'm conflicted not by the book but whether or not gleaning would be a good or bad thing in our modern world.
Anyway I absolutely loved this book it has been on my list to read for a long time and I'm so glad I finally decided to read it. It is truly such a unique story and it was thrilling from start to finish. I never tried of it one bit and there were so many shocking twists and turns that I honestly never expected and I'm usually really could and picking them up. I'm in love with Rowan and Citra they would make the best duo if they ever gleaned together or decided to go against the Scythedonians which I'm hoping what the 2nd book is about.
The book has informed me in the most interesting of ways each individual detail of the world, it's history and everything about the Scythes in such a interesting way I know more about this book than anything I've read before because I genuinely found it such a fascinating read. Not only that but it makes you wonder of the future or what it holds it questions your mortality and whether or not you agree with the doings in the book and it has shaken me to my core. It's such a fantastic read and I honestly can't recommend it enough.
