I’ve loved Rush for a long time. Neil Peart is my favorite drummer, but since the members tend to let the music speak for itself I never knew too much about them.
Lee puts it all out there. His family history in the holocaust is heart breaking and moving and completely unexpected, as I didn’t even know he was Jewish.
I loved hearing Lee break down the thought process behind each album and tour and the ups and downs that made each one unique.
And of course when the retirement and death of Neil happened I was brought to tears. I loved Lee’s heartfelt stories and thoughts about the band as a whole and specifically his friend and band mate Neil. RIP Professor.
