I literally only started listening because I like one of the narrators. But then I was hooked. I wouldn't say this is good persay, but rather compelling the way Chuck Paluhnik's books are. The characters are interesting and funny, there are parts that make me clench my legs together in a "dear god no never" way, and overall I would listen to another book in this series.
I think enjoying this book is like enjoying some more lurid horror films in that you can like it and appreciate the characters and story for what it is while absolutely not endorsing it because it's, you know, fiction.
