Scarlett embarks on a magical game of mystery, temptation and torment, in order to save that which she holds most dear. I loved the world of Caraval and the author’s style of writing! I’d say the romance was a bit too on the nose for me, however if you love heartbreakingly sugary romances this is definitely a beautiful read! Very much enjoyed the book regardless - keen to see what the trilogy next brings in book two!
