It was alright, not what I had hoped it was going to be/end up being.

I really wish that this book was the classic like chick sold off to her fathers enemy to pay his debt. Then they fall for each other and all that. The entire book I was like okay maybe he’ll stop being such an ass now. After all his reasons to be so cruel are dumb like he’s his dad died but dude you can’t really put thah on her. And the whole gonna make her submit normally I’m like okay kinda a fan but idk the way in this book is him just dying to constantly manipulate her to do what he wants. I downloaded the second one only because I’m slightly curious about what happens when she inevitably gets caught after running away with the notebook. But idk if the second is same as the first I might have to DNF. Also don’t think I don’t like the book just because I’m not a fan or this kinda book. I’m a big fan of this kinda stuff but this book just really hasn’t done it for me. Idek what to rate the spice at cause there was spice but it was like eh idk.
