Still Life with Woodpecker by Tom Robbins

3.0

My favorite part about this book is that if you asked me what it was about, I would not be able to tell you.
It was hilarious, confusing, at some parts pointless... but I liked it none the less.
Robbins is very perceptive and creative and created a beautiful union out of love and perversion (typically authors/fiction do not allow the two to exist together).

This is the first novel that I have read by him and feel that he became an author to share and express his opinions on society *with* society.

He is like Vonnegut meets Bukowski... if you like these authors, I would definitely recommend Tom Robbins.
