Lost Stars by Claudia Gray

4.0

Loved the story, but didn’t love the characters. This novel shows different perspectives of the explosion of the first Death Star, which is interesting in its own right. Most of the characters lack depth, and fail to get past a certain aspect of their personality (ie, the snobby characters are just snobby, nothing else). I just wanted more out of the characters, especially the female lead, Ciena Ree. The mental gymnastics Ciena would engage in to justify her position was maddening. The story was engaging, and worth reading, but you may constantly be wanting for more character development.
