Another First Chance by Robbie Couch

5.0

Despite never giving one of his books a full 5 star before, Robbie Couch has always been an auto read author for me and this book highlights exactly why. The trial setting was so unique and gave the story such a different setting that I think perfectly helped to highlight both the underlying mystery of what the heck is actually going on and the exploration of grief that had me tearing up by the last page. It might not have been extra deep (imo) but I can appreciate when a book can be so familiar yet also be such a brand new concept. All the questions I had I feel like were wrapped up and it was so cohesive. I read this book in a day and couldn't put it down. Also I read this book for a reading challenge and I put it under the category "I'm Ball-In" and I just think it's funny that
the ending was supposed to be a ball but it doesn't actually happen
which I thought was ironic.
