Book of the Month Club: March 2024

Imagine being a robot, but knowing that you're a robot some jerk (Doug, of course his name is Doug) has created to be a sex-bot, essentially. Ick. This is Annie's reality and the more that she learns about the world and her place in it, the more that she wants to do something else. The more she wants to be independent. But, how do you run away from your master if he owns you? The problem is, Annie doesn't have a lot of options. As much as she's learning and adapting, she still can't ever figure out how to be 'perfect' for Doug and he's starting to get upset with her. And let me tell you, Doug does some disgusting stuff to try and make Annie jealous/keep her in line.

The front half was definitely stronger than the last half, and I can't explain why. But I was pleased with the resolution.
