After reading Snow’s story in the arena, and being disappointed, I’m so happy to report that Haymitch’s story contains the elements of Haymitch I adore and explanations for his rougher edges.
Along the way, we meet others we’ve met before and their interactions make the stories we already know about them even richer.
I inhaled this reading so that I could quickly pass it on to the next person waiting. It is well worth the read for those who’ve followed the series.
