Kareena’s sister Bindu has her engagement party in 4 months time and she’s only just learned that the family home which their mother built is going to be sold with their father retiring. Desperate to keep her mothers house, Kareena’s father strikes a deal with her - get engaged by the time her sister Bindu’s engagement party and she can use the money for her wedding to buy the house from her father. On her birthday Kareena ends up meeting the one man who ends up sharing none of her values around love marriages - Dr Prem Verma aka Dr Dill who is a cardiologist who believes love is an illusion. Too bad Prem also needs an engagement to also get money for a business. Or is it just the perfect arrangement?

I LOVE Shakespeare retellings and this retelling of Taming of the Shrew was wonderful! It was heartwarming largely and funny! Some of the end did feel a bit rushed and felt like it could’ve just as easily been edited back a little to make it more cohesive but the overall ending won my heart back over! If you love Bollywood romance tropes, this one might just hit the right notes!
