Damn!! What a novel. It hit so hard #eldestdaugherasian. the character dynamics were so rich, and I could see so clearly how Jane is this young girl that wanted to be seen so badly, both physically and literally, by everyone in her world that she was willing to change her body in the most gruesome ways for crumbs of recognition. And I think that just comes with being the younger sister of this older sibling who is initially so excellent but also harboring secrets of her own. Wow.
