The Green Mile
by Stephen King
Stephen King's books are either complete rubbish or absolutely amazing - there is no in between. The Green Mile belongs to the amazing kind. I enjoyed re-reading it after 10 years and it still makes me feel so emotional. My favorite character still is Mr.Jingles, the mouse which lives in the cell of one of the inmates of the execution ward. But the novel has heaps of other amazing characters in it and you feel attached to almost all of them. Also all the biblical references and ethical dilemmas continue to intrigue me.
