Spoiler? It happens quickly in the book.
I really am confused about the time traveling thing. Like there was no real entrance or exit from it, and somehow she actually experienced Italy 30 years prior to when she actually went? Then she just was back in the present? It would have been more believable if she like knocked herself out and dreamed it.
