I loved the idea of this book and it was really unpredictable. I thought I guessed the plot twist really early on but I was very wrong which was great. The character development (including relationship development between characters) and conflict resolution in the first half of the book or so was really well done. Kyle navigating his new life and working through his trauma was really well done and well paced. However, I felt like his relationship with Marley felt very rushed and unrealistic. I also felt like the last quarter of the book had so many twists that it made it hard to figure out what was real and did not leave much time to wrap up the book properly. Many of the conflicts had to be resolved very quickly at the end because of the lack of time involved. His relationships with Sam and Kimberly changed very suddenly and the original car accident was not really properly discussed in the last half of the book. I absolutely loved the originality of the book and the idea however the amount of twists near the end and their execution made it a little bit hard to follow and remain connected with the characters.
