Ugh, I hate it when I’m left on the fence about how I feel about a book. On the one hand, I mean, I did like it. And everything seemingly wrapped up with a bow, which I also usually like. On the other hand, for a long book filled with one dire situation after another, the conclusion was really freaking rushed. There were so many plot lines that need to be tied up that it felt like some of them just got a quick sweep under the rug to tidy things up. Also, all of the adults in this series annoyed the ever loving crap out of me. The Hudson fandom cracked me up though! And, I did cry at one point, so there is that. For all of its faults, I was still ridiculously invested. Not sure how I feel about finding out that there’s going to be a spin off series. I’ll probably read it though.
