The book was okay. The story was fone, but there was a total lack of context. I have no idea when this story takes place. It could be a medieval thing or modern. No idea.
It also felt a bit fragmented.
There was no clear feeling of time, the passing of time, day and night seemed to alternate on a whim. I had no idea of scale, distances all felt the same and the same. Never did I get a feeling for the lay-out or anything. Nor of the working of society.
This gave the feeling if a story happening in a vacuum
The main character did not seem very smart, just anoying and headstrong.
