This book took me so long to get through and that's partially on me. I did not find this book as compelling as the previous ones in the series. It definitely could have been edited down by like 20%.
The strengths of these books are the setting - I like learning about India as it was trying to gain its independence from Britain. This book had a little of this, but could have shined more of it leaned into the history.
I'm also disappointed in the ending.
