I read it. I skipped through much of it at the end. Explicit rapes, unnecessary detailed prostitution....I hated it. I know it's supposed to be an allegory, but I still hated it. I also know that the writing style is to give the reader the feeling of the characters... Yeah, ok. It was boring and awful. The characters' lives were the same, so I guess job well done 🫤
