Ugh, I expected to like this one so much more, but it was a slog to get through. I know Emma as a character isn't supposed to be likable but I wasn't remotely rooting for her, and I did not care about her perfect sensationalist ending (or her character arc that was facilitated entirely by a man in the last few chapters). I'm just not into this plotless, uncritical, snoozeworthy writing style. But I am excited to rewatch Clueless.
