It didn't feel her reason for killing was reason enough, all through the book I was waiting for some "aha!" moment or a twist that would depeen the readers understanding of why she was killing her family but there wasn't so I felt like I couldn't get on board with the main character. The ending was quite predictable and an easy way out to add an extra character.
