This book was ok.
I love Holly as a character, and love the characters that make a repeat appearance here.
However, there are a lot of issues I have with the book. Leading up to the release, SK said that it was going to be a classic whodunnit featuring Holly, in the same feel of Agatha Christie. So my expectations were one way, but it didn’t end up being that way at all. It’s almost just a repainting of previous Holly books, just not as good. It depends a lot on coincidence. I hated the use of Barbara Robinson as a cheap way to make us care about someone who will be in danger in the third act.
