The Memory Police by Yōko Ogawa

5.0

I went into this one knowing nothing and was pleasantly surprised that it's reminiscent of Ray Bradbury's Fahrenheit 451, which I just finished before picking this one up. I loved Fahrenheit 451, so I was delighted to explore another story in the same vein.

In The Memory Police, we're examining the same themes of memory, the meaning of being, and a totalitarian authority that all brings together an exceedingly well-done dystopian.

I think I've just found another favorite author, and I undoubtedly need to pick up more of Yōko Ogawa's works.
