if your feminism isn't inclusive then it isn't feminism.

i stopped about 8% into the book when rosalita was introduced. the book centers around 4 women and one of them is a hispanic/latinx woman and she's the fucking cleaner. when she's grabbing the trash from sloane's office (one of the other characters) and asks sloane how her day is going - sloane responds with "how do you say shitty in spanish?" sloane apologizing afterwards with the excuse of "i'm tired, it's not an excuse, but i'm sorry," is straight up bullshit. it shouldn't have been written in the first place. i'm not gonna read about your me too movement book if you're not gonna accurately represent people. fuck off.

not to mention katharine's review where she shows that chandler baker uses ableist language to refer to guilt that moms feel when it comes to deciding whether or not to work.
"We lived with guilt the way other people lived with chronic medical conditions, only arguably ours was the less treatable."

fuck off. seriously, do not read this book.
