The impossible cannot have happened, therefore the impossible must be possible in spite of appearances.

Murder on the Orient Express was my first Agatha Christie book, and the first thing I can say is, I can definitely understand the hype! Great introduction, and one that really earned my interest.

The characters in here were fascinating, and even more so when you figure out the mystery unravelling in the end! Mrs. Hubbard was a spectacular actress, for sure, and I have this urge to actually witness these happenings, because it was very thrilling. We cannot forget about our main detective, Hercule Poirot, of course. His methods are quite interesting, but I kind of like him! His patience and wits were impressive. Since this was a library book, I didn't have a chance to write any annotations nor have time to write books in my journal, because I was so absorbed. So I don't think I'd have a lot of remarks to say in this review.

I loved the setting in this book so damn much. A train, stopped because of a snow storm? Heck yeah. So that, nobody could get in, nor get out? HELL yeah! Such an interesting set-up for a mystery, so that a lot of us are at the edge of our seats. I'd really love to be in this setting, as much as how ominous-sounding the whole situation is!

The writing was alright! The French in here was plenty, so I had to go on Google for a while, but I think some of them were quite understandable.

The plot was amazing! I really liked how the parts were structured according to the crime, the evidence, and the outcome! It kind of shows how the nature of Poirot is, organised and orderly. I liked the unique outtake of the final reveal. Instead of "Which one of them?" it was "Which one of them wasn't?" and how they managed to do it! Very interesting on how they cooperated together to make the crime happen in a great way, and even more interesting on how Poirot could uncover it!

I really enjoyed this book, and maybe more Agatha Christie in the future? :0 For now, have a great day, everyone!
