kimiwriter 's review for:
The Wonderful Wizard of Oz: 100th Anniversary Edition
by L. Frank Baum
Read this for my reading through the decades challenge. It's a classic, it's meant for kids, but I couldn't help feeling like it was underwhelming. There's no real sense of danger or change, just characters going from place to place and seeing different things. No one learns anything.
Overall, it's fine and people love it for a reason. I just didn't connect with it.
