» It’s not realistic, he says. Things like that never work in real life.

Maybe not in a conventional sense, she says. But maybe we’re not in a conventional situation. «

I heard lots about this book and was in awe with the blue page edges when I started reading.

I liked how thrilling it is without really having any action that's above the level of daily-life drama.
It's both why I love it and why it only got 4 stars.
I love world building but missed it somehow.
My partner is poly but I'm not – talking to them about Intermezzo helped them feel a little understood.

I really enjoyed reading the book bit by bit before bed for unwinding. I ended up skipping most of the sex scenes.
I recommend it to a couple of friends and am excited to see if any of them will actually read it :)
