I really liked the build up for this book; it has the perfect pace for the plot to start unfolding and thicken and let me tell you all the plot twists were GOOOOOOOOD I was eating that shit UP! + the characters I felt were so likeable (apart from you know who 😾) and overall it was such a relaxing BUT INTENSE AND DRAW DROPPING read 🕊🤍

When everything started to happen I had my palm slapped onto my face and SCREAMING. I’ll never listen to that one Tik Tok post I came across saying this book was predictable BECAUSE HOW DARE YOU. That or I’m still the clueless to what’s going on reader I know I am and will always love because plot twists will forever be shocking to me for that reason <3333

This book I feel is getting me out of my reading slump SO YOU KNOW IT HAS TO BE CHEFS KISS! And HOLDER GAHHHH he can definitely be added to my seemingly never ending list of book boyfriends because THIS MANNNN WAS SO SWEET AND SO WELL WRITTEN AS A CHARACTER :’))

But I felt like I left with too many unanswered questions toward the end and as I’m in the middle of the second book right now, I don’t think they’re going to get answered at all. What happened to Six? Did she ever find out about Sky’s completely different life? Did Sky ever contact her again after all the shit that went down?

And I felt like the whole high school plot was completely chucked out the window; the whole Sky is a whore thing I felt was completely unnecessary but I dunno, it had its part to play with a commonality with Holder about rumours.
