SR Jones' trilogy Twisted Sagas starts off with Dangerous Vows. Be forewarned...this is a trilogy so it ends on a cliffhanger. Gio's and Amelia's story is a steamy turbulent one. Amelia's dad warned her Gio is the devil incarnate. She went to live and work for him anyway, being drawn to him.
I am not sure how I feel about Giovanni. Yes he is cruel and mean but then we see another side and you really wonder if it is an act. His chemistry with Amelia is a passionate one. Amelia...I'm am trying to cut her a break. She was raised and lived in a bubble. So I guess her naiveté is just so foreign. I wanted to tell her to wake up, grow up...sometimes she got on my nerves.
The story overall was paced pretty well. It had some slow moments but made up for them in other. I cannot wait to see where this trilogy takes up.
