Silver Foxed
by Kayla Grosse
Like many others, I found Kayla through Trick Shot, her throuple hockey Christmas novella. I then proceeded to devour everything she wrote, which always has a HEA, a plus-size heroine, phenomenal spice, and a filthy-mouthed hero. When she selected me to ARC read Silver Foxed, an AGE GAP, DAD'S BEST FRIEND NOVELLA??? SAY LESS RIGHT NOW, PLEASE, MA'AM, I WANT SOME MORE. Silver Foxed is Elijah and Alex's story; Elijah works for and is best friends with Oliver. Who also happens to be Alex' dad. When some crossed wires lead to the two of them sharing a weekend at a lake house, their chemistry leads them to agree to a one-weekend only fling, but neither of them can quite let go of the other. Elijah is the ULTIMATE silver fox and is so perfectly dominating--I just can't get over this MMC--while Alex is the perfect foil for him with her zest for life. Also, and let me just scream this from the rooftops: THAT JACUZZI SCENE. THE BEACH. THE FREAKING SHOWER. 🥵🥵🥵 Like many novellas, I had exactly one complaint: it was too freaking short.
