I think R.L. Stine has done a great job writing this book. I loved the twists, and I never thought Otto's nephew would end up scaring both of the kids. For a while, R.L. Stine had me believing that Seth was a ghost. I also think that having the kids go on a tour at the end of the book and the tour guides being ghosts was predictable. Still, considering this was probably written in the early 2000s, I can see how this probably hadn't been done much, if at all, so it was perhaps a shocker back in the day.
