i’ve learned so much during my reading and that’s so satisfying.
some parts/experiences were pretty familiar to me especially when it came to his relationship with his mother.
overall, it felt like the context in which trevor noah and just like thousands of other south africans grew up, was set in another world/dimension but not at all, it happened for centuries and ended not that long ago which is so crazy to me.
i’ve found this book so interesting and revolting at the same time and i would recommend it to anyone that wishes to educate themselves around the questions about racism, discrimination, race, colonialism etc
